I got so annoyed that I googled the history of contractions and found out that only the "not" contraction was speculated to be used then and very rarely at that. I felt that all else took side issue to their sexual tension, and that bothered me. Lady Constance calls herself "Lady Morrow" at one point. He wasn't always an idiot though.

A Bride Most Begrudging -- book review
The life depicted here was, despite being difficult and uncertain, begrudgin interesting to me. Despite this being Christian romance and a clean read, it definitely sizzled.
Disease is in the background, as are the relations with the Native Americans. There deexnne a lot of romance in this book. She didn't use the King James Version of the Bible for her biblical quotes.
I don't mean bad words. I didn't understand w This is women's Christian fiction? The other two items aside, I couldn't stand Drew.

Told you he was an idiot. The only Bible at that time was the King James Version but the author states negrudging she decided to use the other version because she understands it better and is more familiar with it.
